Instead of enabling progress, the current EU regulatory environment too often still holds back innovators with complex, fragmented, and contradictory rules.

The EU’s simplification efforts are moving slowly in the right direction, but now is the time for real ambition and decisive action.

Through our campaign ‘Simplify EU tech rules. Unlock innovation.’ we call on the European Commission to be far more ambitious in its simplification approach.

Europe does not need more rules – it needs better ones.

Rules that are clear, consistent, and innovation-friendly.

Addressing inconsistencies is only the first step.

To lead again, Europe must embrace ambitious simplification that removes barriers and empowers innovation to thrive.
